Overview of fees

My hours are flexible to accommodate the personal needs of you, your family, and your friends.

Please note that the information below is provided as a general guide.

Initial Doula Consultation:

An initial no obligation pre-arranged meeting in person, phone or Zoom.
• 45 minutes free of charge (subject to *travel time)

Ongoing Consultations in person, phone or Zoom:

• $80.00 per hour. Minimum 1 hour per consultation.

Research and general administration:

• $70.00 per hour

Doula Consultation packages are flexible though as a guide:

• $70 per hour up to 6 hours
• $65.00 per hour up to 11 hours

Advance Care Plan Package $295.00 per person:

• An initial complimentary no obligation 30-minute meeting with a pre-arranged time to discuss the purpose, requirements and procedure.
• Work on content and preparation of each individual Advance Care Plan via Phone, in person or ZOOM
• Maximum time included 4 hours, additional $80.00 per hour as required

*Travel for bookings is calculated subject to location and time of day:

• Up to 60 kms round trip from the Doulas home is included in the hourly consultant fee
• Over 60kms round trip is charged at $1.00 per km subject to time of day

Sleepover (Vigils):

• Sleepover arrangements are negotiable
• A secure setting, clean bed & bedding/recliner is to be in or near the client’s room with access to the use of bathroom and basic kitchen facilities.

Payment terms:

• 7 days from invoice date
• Payment via direct deposit only. Currently no credit cards are accepted @ 1 July 2024
• GST is included in all the above figures
• Cancellation fees will be subject to your individual circumstances

NDIS:

• Subject to your plan and approval, if you have a NDIS plan that is self or agency-managed, you may qualify to utilise your funding to hire a doula to support you. Your personal End-of-life Doula package would be treated like any other service provider you choose.

The Doula will make every effort to accommodate the Client’s scheduling needs.
Cancellation Policy Acknowledgement
If the Client needs to cancel or reschedule an appointment, a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required.
Failure to provide adequate notice *may result in a cancellation fee of $100.00.
NOTE: Please rest assured cancellation and amendment fees will be discussed and based on your *personal circumstances at the time.
Client Responsibilities Acknowledgement
Client Responsibilities:
• The Client agrees to provide accurate and complete information regarding their medical condition, preferences, and any other relevant information.
• The Client understands that the Doula’s services are non-medical and are provided to offer support, guidance, and companionship.
• The Client agrees to seek medical or legal advice from qualified professionals as needed.

The Doula agrees to keep all Client information confidential and will not disclose any personal information without the Client’s written consent, except as required by law.

Consent and Agreement - Client
Upon submission of this Form, the Client agrees to the terms and conditions outlined in this Contract. This Contract is the entire agreement between the Client and the Doula. Any amendments or modifications must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
